As I embrace the Principles of the 12 Steps it seems as though my true self shines more daily. With the help of a God that I don't understand, my life isn't ruled as much by what I want to happen. Reality used to be filtered by drugs and alcohol.
As my Meditation and Devotion practice grow, opinions, bias, planning the outcome and of course ego are not so much in the way of what God has to show me today. Meditate if you will, a still pond, or a cloudless blue sky.
